Why would Serious Intellectuals (who I will leave un-named) repeat the horror stories about the Hamas attack on 2023-10-07 that have long been proven to have been total fabrications. The 40 babies. The rape and mutilation stories. Long since denied by Israeli government officials. Even putting ALL the blame for ALL the deaths that day on Hamas when Israeli officials have admitted that at least SOME were the result of Israeli fire?

It is easy to believe some Intellectual or Another is as smart as they want to project. The Media is forever promoting them as either benign or evil geniuses so that they have a useful stature. This helps The Right People know what the proper responses are. But when they are clearly outright lying (example’s name withheld) or repeated outdated false information (also withheld) they are simply not to be trusted no matter how August their Credentials.
Today, another well-respected voice lost my trust over repetition of debunked Israeli Hasbara. That leaves very few “recognized public intellectuals” on my trusted list.
