Pippen is getting better. We were down at 35S when the two poodle-ish guys showed up off leash and came to visit. Two years ago he would have panicked and gone nutz. He just stood there and was gently self-protective. And again coming back. A three-pelican day but no sanderlings.

UnCivil War

The Dems have nothing but lawfare and corruption left. They have no message. No program. Just violence against Tesla and empty hatred rhetoric.

Trump, on the other hand, is every bit the empty-headed monster one would expect. If not for “the others” it would be an unmitigated geopolitical and domestic disaster. The backlash against the Mid-East policies and the vicious censorship is likely to be the worst seen in a while. Vance can’t lecture Europe about speech and then stand quiet when Khalil and friends are ruthlessly suppressed. This is a deep and dangerous betrayal of promises made.

Still on nobody’s side. We’ll see who from The Others (Kennedy Jr., Patel, Vance, …) emerges unscathed and/or with a positive message going forward.

On Being Scolded

For the benefit of anyone with high aspirations: “Be humble!” The work will speak for itself. Talk benefits. Talk measurable advantages. Under-promise and over-deliver.

Real success has many potential metrics. Being satisfied that you are on a righteous and sustainable path with good future options is the place to be.

And, an announcement is screaming into an oncoming hurricane. Shoveling back the tide.
