It is odd. Tranquility is so carefully balanced. The forces required to destabilize things are miniscule. And often out of one’s control.
Control is everything, of course. Nobody really wants to see your inner turmoil. It is all too private and raw. Better you should present the flat surface of the pond while the monsters rage in the deep.
And when one of the monsters is poked from above, let the ripples die down while the damage is undone.
Illness weakens the resolve and loosens emotions that must be controlled. Better answers and responses might camouflage what ought not be allowed to become visible.
