A political prisoner he was allegedly tortured, was in declining health and not receiving medical treatment, and was detained while not in custody trying to leave the country. A US citizen, Gonzalo COULD and SHOULD have been freed and deported on request from the US Goverment. They never asked.
Gonzalo Lira, a US citizen, was detained and allowed to die at the will of the United States government. Many “civil servants” and appointeds are complicit.
Gonzalo was a popular voice on Youtube and frequent guest on alternate media. He is sadly missed.
He is a minor but authoritative example of the disregard for the lives of dissidents, for the lives of US Citizens abroad, and for the protection of Free Speech.
